This tropical pineapple coconut margarita is the perfect drink for summer! You only need 4 ingredients and less than 5 minutes to make it!

I absolutely love margaritas! It is one of my favorite drinks and practically mandatory to order one at a Mexican restaurant with a side of queso. I mean how can you not? And I especially like flavored margaritas! Strawberry, watermelon, pineapple and coconut are some of my go tos! So when I saw pineapple coconut juice at my local grocery store, I had to get it and make myself a margarita! Definitely one of my better ideas because talk about delicious! Perfect cocktail for Summer, taco Tuesday and pretty much any other day of the year.

What kind of juice to use for this margarita?

I used a pineapple coconut juice by R.W. Knudsen that I found at my local Smiths. It is 100% juice, no sugar added and it is simply amazing. In margaritas or on its own we love it! But you can use any brand of combination pineapple coconut juice you like!

What kind of tequila to use to make margarita?

So for margaritas you want to use a good quality silver (blanco) tequila. I’ve also used Golden tequila and although not ideal in margaritas, I actually really liked it in this pineapple coconut margarita.

How to serve margarita:

You can serve it on the rocks with plenty of ice or frozen.

How to make frozen margaritas?

Place some of the made margarita in a blender with ice and blend until smooth. Perfect summertime refreshing drink!

How to make this ahead of time?

This makes a big pitcher! You can make it for up to 2 days in advance and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
